Ntchezgo Garden was not built overnight. It was grown — slowly, deliberately, and with deep respect for the land beneath it. What is today a thriving 15-acre regenerative agroecology landscape was once severely degraded farmland on the outskirts of Mzuzu, stripped of its trees, its soil fertility, and its ecological vitality by decades of unsustainable land use. In 2018, restoration began with a single driving question: can degraded African land be brought back to life in ways that create real value for people and communities?
